Caesarstone Bench, Sink, Door IN- WK 21

Week 21

Mon 26th May - Sun 01 Jun 2014

We had a good run this week, managed to see my kitchen caesarstone benches, sinks go in at the start of the week. And we also had one Carpenter come and spend all his week at the house (doing the architraves and skirting and putting on the internal doors).

Here what we had for the week:-
- Caesarstone stone kitchen bench installed
- Kitchen/Butley Pantry Sink delivered and installed
- Kitchen/Vanity Cabinet handles installed
- Ground Floor bricks cleaned
- Internal Door Hung
- Architraves done (ground floor)
- Skirting done (ground floor)
- Garage Roof Trusses re-fitted

Mon 26 May - Caesarstone Bench, Sink Installed - Day 101
Delivery: Kitchen and Vanity Sink (replacement) , Kitchen Benches
Today the cabinet makers were on sight to fit the Kitchen, Butler Pantry, Vanity Sink, Cabinet handles....
Also they managed to install the Kitchen and Pantry caesarstone benches (including the waterfall ends ::cheerleader::

.
Now just waiting for the glass splashback and I can see all the colours come together.

Tue 27 May - Ground Floor Brick Cleaned, architraves continues - Day 102
Delivery: Front Door Lock and Handles
At long last the remainder of our brick work (ground floor) were cleaned today. Now we can actually see the brick/mortar work in more detail. Will be taking notes where mortar is either missed / coming off or even has a rough finish and will raise to SS when we have our fixing walk through in a few weeks.

Also the Carpenter finally showed up to resume working on the architraves that he started and left in week (19).

Wed 28 May - Internal Doors Hung - Day 103
The Carpenters returned and manged to finish off the architraves to ground floor and even hung all internal doors.

Thu 29 May - Architraves and Skirting - Day 104
The Carpenters was there nice and early (8:00am) to finish off on the architraves to ground floor and made a start on the ground floor skirting. Good thing I was working from home today so managed to drop by and he was kind enough to let me in and take some photo ::cheerleader::

He told me that painters cannot come in until he finishes... so thinking sometime after mid next week we'll see a start of painting preparation.

Fri 30 May - Architraves and Skirting - Day 105
Skirting and architraves to ground floor is now fully complete. Just the top floor to do now.
Also they worked on fixing and putting some of the garage roof trusses since some where taken off due to the scattfold going up. I think this so they can get people working on putting on the roof tiles next week???

Weekly Contract Admin status update:-
Paint preparation will commence in whilst carpenter is still finish off the skirting and architraves. SS has not mentioned when garage roof is scheduled to go in.
