Week 4
Mon 27th Jan - Sun 02nd Feb 2014What a looong week this has been.. went by the block every day hoping to see first part of the timber frame delivered but block remains untouched since Slab Pour last Thur 23 Jan.

Australia Day - Public Holiday
Tue 28th Jan - Day 14
Industrial RDO
Independent inspector came out to inspected slab - no major issues found( within tolerance ).
Wed 29th Jan - Day 15
Received Burbank official 'Commencement Letter'
According to Burbank, as the Slab invoice was issued on 24th Jan, this constitutes as the official 'Start Date' and completion date should be within 330 days.
So technically speaking my home is to be completed by 20th December 2014. My Christmas present hey?
But the contractor admin said they tend to take only 7-8 months to build a double Storey.... Fingers cross hoping to move in by July - Aug...
Thu 30st Jan - Day 16
Its been exactly 7 days since Slab Pour and besides sight fill , no other progress
At 1pm received weekly call from the builder contract admin providing me a status update
' Slab has been completed, and now just awaiting for Framer to be come available to start '
Thats another one or two or even three weeks I have to wait??? errrrrrrr how annoying...
