Our Journey started Aug 2013

So this is my first blog :) I have decided to try and post all the updates from the journey of our first build.

We started the process searching for our block in April 2013 and had Settlement of our block on 26th June 2013...it has been a very looong and alittle bumpy journey to get us to where we are today.




After quite abit of searching , in late August we made decision to build with Burbank because they had a custom division.. We building a custom double Storey (Menton3850) approx 41sq (includes triple garage)

This is the house we are building (minus the Cladding to Balcony./First Floor) - Hubby not a fan of 'Cladding'

Exterior Colour Selections

• Bricks: Austral [Chestnut] Access
• Gutter: ColorBond Monument
• Fascia & Downpipes: ColorBond June 
• Garage Door: ColorBond June
• Window and Door: ColorBond June

• Face Rendering
  Main: Leatherwood
  Balcony: Loft
  Pier: Monument 

Here are a few modification we did to the original design:-

• Add extra single garage (1 + 2 )
• Brick work to both first Floor and Balcony  (as opposed to Cladding)
• Full Face Render (3 colours)
• Higher Celings   2740mm to Ground Floor, 2590mm to First Floor 
• Re-design Bed 1 and Bed 2 room layout
• Swap location of Staircase and Study Room
• Add cavity Door between Laundry and Pantry
• Remove wall between staircase and Lounge Room Here
