Wall and Floor Tiling & Garage Door Installed - WK 26

Week 26

Mon 30 Jun- Sun 06 Jul 2014

Tiles were delivered at the start of the week but Tilers did not show up til late Thursday but they sure made up for lost time. With a team of (4) both first and ground floor were fully tiled by COB Friday.. now that good work in just 2 days!!! Tiler also told me they will be back tomorrow to apply the grouts!!!!


Also at long last the final touch to my front facade is done!! Yes the garage panel doors were delivered and installed also today...



Work for the week:-
- Tiling to first floor (Thursday)
- Tiling to Ground Floor (Friday)
- Garage Doors installed (Friday)



For a moment I couldn't help but have a Garage Door color bond moment and Also thanks to the tilers I was able to snap up some of the tiling work done





Mon 30 June - Tiles delivered  - Day 130
 Delivery: Tiles were delivered at 7am this morning



Tue 01 July - No WORK - Day 131




Wed 02 July - No WORK - Day 133
Its been (3) weeks since I have had a status update from Admin, thought they have forgotten me



Weekly Contract Admin status update:-
Tiles have been delivered to sight and Tiling to commence sometime this week. The forecast is to have fit off  booked once tiling is complete.




Thu 03 July - First Floor / Balcony Tiling  - Day 134
At long last we had the Tilers on sight today. Think they must have started tiling to the first floor as we couldn't see anything looking through the windows but we can only assumed based on the empty tiles boxes and tile off cuts thrown near the sight case bins




Fri 04 July - Ground Floor Floor Tiling/ Garage Panel Door Installed  - Day 135
At long last the final touch to my front facade is done!! Yes the garage panel doors were delivered and installed today...
For a moment I couldn't help but have  a Garage Door color bond moment 

Also thanks to the tilers I was able to snap up some of the tiling work done
With a team of (4) tilers (excluding the feature strip wall tile that was not delivered) both first and ground floor has been fully wall and floor tiled in just (2) days. Tiler also told me they will be back tomorrow to apply the grout!!!!
