With every hope plaster did not show up ::sad::   So I decided to give SS a call to see whats happening.
Funnily enough SS also thought that they were due to start last Thur/Fri. He told me he follow up.
Within 5 minutes SS called me back to advise that due to house being a double storey they needed special crains to get the plaster to first floor so truck is booked in for tommorrow.

Heres hope they will show up tomorrow

Scaffold Down - WK 17

Week 17

Mon 28th Apr - Sun 04 May 2014

Very disappointing this week, not only did we have rain rain and cold weather but not much progress either even though admin did advise plastering were to start by end of the week ::frown::

Heres the work for the week:-
- First Floor outside Windows Cleaned
- Electrical Rough Ins (special request)
- First floor were sanded back (guess to make it all nice and level???)
- Scaffold finally down

Mon 28 Apr - Windows Cleaned - Day 80
There were two cleaners on sight up on the scattfold cleaning all of the first floor outside windows. I guess its easier if they do it now since its still there.
Amazing now what you can see through those windows from far away

Tue 29 Apr - More Electrical Rough Ins - Day 81
The Electrician team were back to put in additional electrical work , this was more pre-wiring work for my hubby future home theatre system. :: ::

So those of you build DS, better think of all your electrical needs before plaster goes in ( including speakers, data points, HDMI, foxtel points) specially to ground floor as it will be very hard or may be impossible if you want them done later.

Wed 30 Apr - Scaffold down &n Floor Sanding - Day 82
We had someone come in and sand back all the first flooring (making it nice and level)
Dont know why they need to do it when we having carpet to most of the upper stairs? Anyone know???

Floor Sanding

Also there were three guys onsite taking down the scattfold, it makes so much different to the view of the home now that the scattfold is down. :: :: ::

Thu 01 May - No Work - Day 83
Weekly Contract Admin status update:-
SS has organised for the scattfold to come down and we should be seeing plaster start by end of this week, once plaster starts we will arrange for the stairs to be fitted.

My stairs was one of my second most expensive upgrade (first being my additional single garage)
This is what I hope to see my stairs look like once complete, more of an open staircase and void area

AND Who is responsible for this????

Came to the site to check out the house on the way home and found one of the glass to my Alfresco sliding doors had been shattered. :x :x
I dont know when this happened, could it be the electrician the other day????

Fri 02 May - No Work - Day 84
Here are some photos now the scattfold is down

East Side of house

West Side of house

South Side of house (looking into Alfresco Area)

House as @ DAY 83 (since sight start) - with scattfold down

So that makes it another week, plster did not show up
Lets hope the plaster gets delivered at the crack of dawn on Monday ready for the plasterers  when they arrive!!!
